About Inductio and the Role

Inductio AG has engaged us to support them in hiring a Finance Director (20–40%, m/f/d). This person will act as a trusted partner to the CEO and employees, driving business performance through both strategic and hands-on finance work.

At Inductio AG, a dynamic scale-up with exceptional growth potential, the finance director plays a pivotal role in driving strategic financial leadership. This position is not just about managing numbers—it’s about building the financial engine that powers scalable growth. Success in this role hinges on a strong mix of strategic insight, operational control, and adaptability.

The role is designed as a part-time position, between 20 and 40%, up to 2 days per week depending on the jobholder's preference. It offers a high degree of flexibility. Work will take place both remotely and on-site in Basel. Employment contract directly by Inductio AG.

• Develop and oversee financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advise the leadership team on fundraising, cash flow management, and financial risk
• Prepare financial models for investors, board meetings, and growth planning
• Establish internal controls and scalable financial processes
• Manage bookkeeping and monthly cash flow model
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Handle payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filings, and audits
• Work with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal teams as needed
• Implement and maintain accounting systems (e.g., Bexio)

• Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or Senior Accountant, ideally in a scale-up or high-growth company in the life science industries
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial modeling, and compliance
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset, communication, and leadership skills
• Language skills: German and English
